Imaging methods for detecting vertebral body fracturesReview articles

Osteoporotic vertebral body fractures constitute a serious health as well as economic problem. Their early diagnosis enables adequa­ te treatment; cur or stentoplasty). In the diagnosis, cooperation between a radiologist and a clinical specialist and clearly predefined criteria are beneficial. In addition to radiographs, magnetic resonance imaging is also of gr tebral bodies in case of multiple fractures.
